I’m open to correction on this but it looks like 1.4% of the people died from covid (source cdc) with an 0.28% mortality rate. Compared to influenza it says 62.4% for people 65 and older. So we’re a being compelled to wear masks, social distance, take experimental drugs, close down business, and give up our civil liberties to an elite few, all for a virus that is not as dangerous as influenza.
